Solid shooting advice. I like to dip my elbow a little more but that's me. It's a fine line between getting and not getting your forearm shaved by the string. It also keeps me from relaxing or dropping my arm during the shot. I let the wrist sling hold on to the bow and I let the bow rock forward in my hand. I also shoot both eyes open. It's more relaxing during the shot. You have to determine which of your eyes is dominant first though. There are articles on the web about shooting both eyes open. Try it, you might like it. You're right though, staying on target through the shot.

Very good advice. After I watched this video I started paying more attention to my anchor point. My groups
immediately improved. Too bad you can't hunt in the UK. You should hop a plane across the pond and come hunt
    with us in the states

I started archery like last week and every video I have watched has a plethora of comments criticizing form or technique in ways that are in no way indicative of someone trying to better another person. It's unreal how unproductive some of you can be.
